General Terms and Conditions of Sale 2026
PREAMBLE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply between:
The Lumihome Society , Company by Simplified Shares, with capital of EUR 700,000 , registered in the Register of Commerce and Companies of Évry under the number 880 752 266 RCS Évry , hereinafter designated "The Society" ,
And
Any natural person making a purchase via the website www.lumihome-france.com and/or www.lumihome.com , hereinafter referred to as "Buyer" .
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to define the terms and conditions of distance selling between the Company and the Buyer, from order to payment and delivery.
They govern all the steps necessary for the placing of orders and ensure its follow-up.
The placing of an order on the website published by the Company implies the full acceptance of the present conditions.
Buyer declares that he has at least 18 years and legal capacity or holder of parental authorisation to make an order on the site.
ARTICLE 1: CONFORMITY AND AVAILABILITY OF PRODUCTS
The products proposed for sale by the Company are those listed on the site on the date of consultation by the Buyer.
They are offered for sale within the limit of available stocks . In the event of the unavailability of a product after ordering, the Company will inform the Buyer as soon as possible by e-mail. The Buyer will then be able to choose a product of equivalent quality and price or cancel his order.
The descriptions and photographs products presented on the site are provided as indicative and have no contractual value.
ARTICLE 2: PRICES
The prices displayed on the site are shown in Euro , all taxes included (including taxes) , including the VAT , and excluding participation in shipping costs .
If the VAT rate , these changes may be passed on to the price of the items without notice.
WEEE Eco-Contribution: LED Light Bulbs
In accordance with environmental regulations, a contribution to the disposal of waste electrical equipment is included in the prices displayed.
Promotional offers:
All new customer benefits from a Welcome offer applicable on the total amount of its first order .
- Outside of the legal sales periods, Lumihome reserves the right to propose, Throughout the year miscellaneous promotional discounts or commercial advantages , without notice and in accordance with the conditions defined on the site at the time of purchase.
Concerning the O "Bundle" (several products together in the same batch, with a special advantage (dispensing, product offered, etc.)) these are not cumulative with the welcome offer or with any other discount or promotion in progress .
Promotion offers are valid within the limit of available stocks and for the duration indicated on the site at the time of their release.
ARTICLE 3: PAYMENT (SEcurization OF PAYMENT)
Orders can be settled by:
- Bank card
- PayPal service
- Bank transfer
For payments via PayPal, bank data is managed directly by PayPal and is not accessible to the Company.
ARTICLE 4: ORDER
All orders are valid express and irrevocable acceptance prices, product descriptions and these Terms of Reference.
After validation of the order, the Company shall address a confirmation e-mail To the Buyer.
ARTICLE 5: EXPEDITION & DELIVERY
Orders are shipped to the address indicated by the Buyer.
Orders in stock are shipped under 24 to 48 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Delivery is ensured by GLS at home and in Relay Point or GEODIS at home .
Processing and delivery costs
Processing costs include packaging, handling and postage, depending on the mode of delivery selected and the destination.
LUMIPRIME accelerated delivery
LUMIPRIME Home : Delivery accelerated ships 24 hours : 14,90€ in Continental France only. The price is €4.90 if your order exceeds €150 (free in delivery) Standard from 150€).
We have an express delivery contract in 1 working day with our partner carriers.
Orders placed before noon (Monday to Thursday) with the LUMIPRIME option are prepared and delivered to our carriers on the same day, in accordance with this contract, in order to guarantee delivery the next day (except weekends and holidays).
Orders placed before 12pm on Friday with the LUMIPRIME option are prepared and delivered the same day to our carriers for delivery from Monday.
Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday with the LUMIPRIME option are prepared on Mondays and delivered today for delivery from Tuesday.
Lumihome undertakes to respect the deadlines for preparation and dispatch, until the delivery of the parcel to the carrier. However, despite these commitments, a possible delay attributable to Geodis or GLS (travel incident, strike, weather conditions, overload, etc.) cannot incur the liability of Lumihome.
In case of delay, the parcel remains priority in the express circuit and will be delivered as soon as possible. No reimbursement of Lumiprime costs will be claimed if the order was correctly transmitted to the carrier within the time limits specified.
Orders not claimed or refused by the customer:
Any unclaimed order within the time limits set at the relay point will automatically be returned to Lumihome by the carrier, who will inform the recipient by e-mail or SMS.
Return costs (for unclaimed or refused packages) invoiced by the carrier to Lumihome will be the responsibility of the client. Lumihome reserves the right to deduct these costs from the refund of the order. The amount of the deduction varies depending on the weight and number of packages returned.
If the customer wishes to re-deliver the products, he will have to register a new order.
Clause: Exports by the customer – VAT
Sales made by Lumihome.com are deemed to be delivered in metropolitan France and subject to the French VAT in accordance with the legislation in force.
In the case where a customer organises, after delivery, the shipment of goods to a territory not subject to French VAT (DOM, etc.), this transaction does not entitle to refund or tax-free, unless the prior written agreement is given.
Any customer wishing to benefit from VAT exemption must inform Lumihome before the sale is concluded and provide the necessary proofs. If not, the sale will remain subject to French VAT.
Article 6: Right of withdrawal
Under the law, the Buyer has 14 days from the date of receipt of the products to exercise its right of withdrawal, without justification or penalty, except for the Return expenses .
One accruing or repaying will intervene under 14 days subject to the reception of the product in perfect condition .
Article 7: GUARANTEE AND RESPONSIBILITY
7.1. Legal guarantees
In accordance with the legal provisions in force, products sold by the Lumihome benefit from:

of the legal guarantee of conformity Article 3 L217-3 to L217-14 of the Consumer code , allowing the Buyer to obtain, without charge, the repair or replacement of the non-compliant product delivered. If these solutions are impossible, the Buyer may request a reduction in the price or cancellation of the sale;

of the legal guarantee against hidden defects provided for in Articles 1641-1649 of the Civil Code , applicable in the event of a defect reimbursing the product unfit for the use for which it is intended.
These guarantees apply to all commercial guarantee possibly proposed by Lumihome.
For any warranty request, the Buyer should contact the Customer Service at the following address: sav @lumihome.com , specifying the order number and attaching the photos of the product concerned.
7.2. Exclusions from guarantee
The guarantees do not cover:
-
damage resulting from improper installation, use not in accordance with the package leaflet or specifications of the product;
-
damage due to external causes (fall, shock, excessive humidity, electrical overvoltage, etc.);
-
interventions, repairs or modifications made by a third party not approved by Lumihome;
-
normal wear of the product or natural ageing of the components;
-
for Lumihome solar product ranges, batteries, considered consumables, are not covered by the warranty.
However, a luminaire purchased for less than six (6) months may be considered for support only.
After this period, no battery claim can be accepted.
7.3. Corporate responsibility
The Society Lumihome shall not be held responsible:
-
of the indirect damage , immaterial or consequential, such as loss of profit, loss of exploitation, loss of data or moral damage;
-
of the consequences of misuse or failure to comply with safety and maintenance instructions;
-
of the delays or impossibility of delivery due to a case of force majeure , as defined by French jurisprudence (strike, natural disaster, war, transportation breakdown, etc.).
Lumihome's responsibility, all causes, is strictly limited to the total amount of the order Set by the Buyer.
7.4. Limitation technique
Lumihome products respect the standards in force The purchaser is responsible for verifying the technical compatibility equipment ordered with its electrical or environmental installation.
ARTICLE 8: PERSONAL DATA
The Corporation undertakes to Protecting personal data the Buyer, in accordance with the Computer Law and Freedom and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) .

ARTICLE 9: APPLICABLE LAW
These Terms of Reference are subject to the French law .
In the event of a dispute, a amicable solution will be sought before any legal action is taken.

ARTICLE 10: MEDIATION OF LITIGES
In case of dispute, the Buyer is invited to contact the Lumihome customer service to seek a friendly solution.
In accordance with Article L612-1 of the Consumer Code The Buyer also has the possibility to make use of a free of charge Consumer Mediator approved for any unresolved dispute.
In the absence of an amicable agreement, disputes will be referred to the competent courts in accordance with ordinary law.
