Use your Lumihome solar lighting: all our tips

Important: The information you need to know to enjoy your solar lighting

To function effectively, your Lumihome solar lighting requires that you follow the following advice:

First use:

Before use: recharge the product for 48 hours. To do this, check that the product is on OFF and then let it load outside for 2 days, in a clear space.

First ignition: to light your solar for the first time, press the small white button that is close to the presence sensor, until the lamp lights up. At this moment you will be on MODE 1.

To change mode: A simple impulse on the same button will be enough to move from MODE 1 to 2 and then to 3.

If you want to turn off your solar, re-use the same operation as for the first ignition.

Installation:

The headlamp sensor shall be installed at a location where it can capture the best sunlight and the surface of its solar panel will be oriented in the optimal direction to absorb the maximum of solar light.

Interview:

For optimal battery charging, make sure to clean the solar panel regularly with a slightly damp cloth. Indeed, the accumulation of dust or leaves can degrade the sensor's performance.

Use only Li-ion batteries 18650 2200m A 3.7V

Respect the polarity indicated in the battery compartment.

If your batteries are damaged or show signs of leakage, they can cause injury.

Never try to charge non-rechargeable batteries.

Never immerse the product in water.

Fall and winter operation:

In autumn and winter, the days are shorter and the sun less present the necessary loading time is extendedWe also recommend that you use mode 3 (600 lumen lighting with presence detection only): this will allow the battery not to discharge too quickly.

In winter, the cold deposits a thin layer of frost on the solar sensor. This impacts the efficiency of charging and reduces battery life.

In the weather (smudge, rain), batteries are more difficult to recharge. It is therefore advisable that the lighting should be reduced to leave the luminaire at least 48 hours in the "OFF" position, so that the battery can be fully recharged. It is also important to know that in winter, the range is reduced.
