ARTICLE 6: RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL, RETURNS AND SERVICE

6.1. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code (articles L221-18 et seq.), the Buyer has a period of fourteen (14) clear days from receipt of the products, or from acceptance of the offer for services, to exercise his right of withdrawal without having to justify his reasons or pay any penalties, with the exception of the cost of return, which remains at his expense.

If the fourteen (14) day period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended until the next working day.

6.2. Repayment terms

In case of exercising the right of withdrawal, Lumihome will proceed, as soon as possible and at the latest within fourteen (14) days from the effective receipt of the returned products, to :

  • a refund, or

  • the issue of a credit note corresponding to the total amount of the luminaires returned (excluding delivery costs).

Products must be returned in perfect condition, unused, unmodified, and in their original packaging.
Failing this, a credit note will systematically be issued, with a deduction corresponding to the depreciation of the product (reconditioning, impossibility of resale, etc.).

The credit note issued is valid one (1) month from the date of issue and can be used in one go on the www.lumihome.com.

⚠️ Return shipping costs are entirely at the customer's expense.


6.3. Return of a defective item / After-sales service (SAV)

In the event of a product failure or defect during the warranty period, Lumihome provides :

  • repair the product, or

  • exchange it for an identical or equivalent model.

Coverage is conditional on compliance with the following criteria:

  • the product has not been modified, disassembled or altered;

  • it has been installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions;

  • the accessories required for its operation (transformers, wiring, controllers, etc.) have been purchased from the Lumihome site or are of the same brand.

Otherwise, Lumihome reserves the right to refuse the exchange, repair or refund.

Before returning the product, the customer must contact Lumihome's after-sales service.
Once the request has been validated, the product must be returned, properly packaged and protected, to the address provided by customer service.


6.4. Return of a product that does not conform to the order

In the event of an error in the preparation of the order, the Buyer has 7 days following receipt to inform Lumihome.

In this case, Lumihome will pay the return shipping costs, provided that :

  • the product is returned complete and in perfect condition;

  • it has not been damaged, soiled or used.

Any item returned incomplete, damaged, deteriorated or non-compliant will not be reimbursed.
